After 17 years as a chiropractor, I decided to pursue my nurse practitioner degree to elevate my approach to health. While chiropractic care addresses wellness from the outside in, my medical training allows me to work from the inside out, targeting health at the cellular level.
During my recent peptide training, I learned that two pivotal ages can accelerate aging, injuries, and degeneration—44 and 60. As I hit 44, this insight motivated me to proactively explore interventions for my health, and I want to share my journey with you!
I've made transformative changes in my health, nutrition, and lifestyle that have left me feeling better than I have in years and reduced my body fat to 7.2% (just in time for Thanksgiving!). Here's a glimpse of what I've incorporated into my routine to enhance my well-being:
1. Daily Stretch Routine: 15 minutes of stretching to improve flexibility and reduce tension.
2. Intermittent Eating Schedule: I stop eating by 7 PM and fast for at least 12 hours. This approach has significantly boosted my recovery and naturally enhances growth hormone levels.
3. Pentosan Polysulfate: An FDA-approved remedy since the '90s, it protects cartilage and promotes joint health while reducing inflammation.
4. BPC-157 & TB4 Frag: This peptide combo enhances blood flow and reduces inflammation, proving invaluable for managing chronic tendonitis.
5. Apigenin: Found in parsley, this phytonutrient decreases inflammation and elevates NAD levels, improving focus and energy.
6. NAD+: The "battery" of our cells, it enhances physical and cognitive energy and accelerates tissue repair—truly a game changer!
7. Methylene Blue: A cognitive boost when needed, enhancing focus and mood for those crucial moments.
8. Creatine: Supports recovery and enhances my workouts, leading to leaner muscles.
9. Essential Amino Acids: These vital nutrients aid recovery and support muscle growth. I rely on the Perfect Aminos from Body Health.
The objective of this stack and lifestyle modifications is clear: reduce inflammation, enhance recovery, increase muscle mass, improve cognitive function, and simply feel better overall.
