Rachel Blumberg, President and CEO of Toby & Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences, recently welcomed Senator Lori Berman, Florida Senate Minority Leader, and Senator Tina Polsky for a meaningful conversation on key priorities impacting senior healthcare and the aging services workforce.

We’re grateful for their engagement and advocacy, and proud to partner with the Florida Life Care Residents Association (FLiCRA), a statewide nonprofit association representing residents living in Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), as we continue vital policy discussions shaping the future of aging services in Florida.

Our residents enjoyed a cultural outing to the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach on Friday, December 12, 2025. Founded in 1941 by Ralph and Elizabeth Norton, the Norton is a premier cultural destination renowned for its outstanding collections of European, American, Chinese, and Contemporary art, as well as photography.

The museum is particularly celebrated for its strong holdings in early 20th-century American art and its significant collection of Chinese artifacts. A beautifully landscaped sculpture garden and the museum’s thoughtfully designed 2019 expansion further enhance the visitor experience. Through its rotating exhibitions and robust educational programs, the Norton Museum of Art continues to inspire creativity and engage the diverse communities it serves.

Our hearts are with the Jewish community in Australia in the wake of yesterday's devastating mass shooting. We mourn the lives lost, pray for the injured, and hold the families and loved ones of the victims in our thoughts during this painful time.

As a senior living community on the Jewish Federation of SPBC campus, we are guided by the values of pikuach nefesh—the sanctity of human life—and arevut, our shared responsibility for one another. Violence against innocent people wounds us all, no matter where it occurs.

We stand in solidarity with the Australian community, who were simply celebrating the first night of Hanukkah, and with all those working to bring healing, comfort, and peace in the aftermath of this tragedy.

May the memories of the victims be a blessing.

Last night two of our residents - Isobel Loring and Dorothy Wizer - proudly represented at American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA)'s “Saving Lives Together" event at B'nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton. It was an evening of community, leadership, and lifesaving impact, headlined by a special ambulance dedication.

The event featured:
*Rabbi David Steinhardt: Rabbi Emeritus of B’nai Torah Congregation and celebrated spiritual leader, educator, and longtime supporter of Israel and global Jewish humanitarian work.
*Patricia Heaton: Award-winning actor and prominent national advocate fighting antisemitism and supporting Israeli families through The October 7 Coalition.
*Jonathan Conricus: Former IDF spokesperson and leading commentator on Middle East security, global terrorism, and Israel’s defense strategy.

We’re continuing to elevate our Sinai Residences Salon & Spa. Along with brand-new styling and hair-washing chairs, we’ve refreshed the styling cabinets with a clean white finish, creating a brighter, more spacious atmosphere.

We look forward to welcoming our residents in the coming weeks and months!

Update: Sinai Residences Hurricane Melissa Disaster Relief

In the aftermath of the devastating hurricane, our Sinai Residences community—both employees and residents—came together to collect essential supplies for those in need in November.

Through these collective efforts, we filled ten 40-gallon containers with critical items. Last week, we delivered these supplies to Food For The Poor, a non-profit organization that will ensure they reach families in Jamaica directly.

Our community’s impact is truly tremendous, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed!

We hope everyone enjoyed a warm and memorable Thanksgiving!

Yesterday was an extraordinary day across our campus, and we’re excited to share just how much heart and hard work went into making it special. Our Culinary team had an incredibly busy and successful day preparing a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for residents and guests in all levels of living. In the Mizner Dining Room alone, 204 meals were served, along with 40 guest meals and a beautifully arranged private dining experience for 12. An additional 106 take-out meals were prepared with the same care and attention to detail. In Assisted Living, 54 meals were served alongside 12 guests, and in Skilled Nursing, 80 meals were enjoyed, and a private celebration for 18 more.

We are truly grateful for our dynamic and talented Culinary Services Department whose dedication made the holiday both seamless and special for our entire community!
