At JFS, we strive to help the seniors in our community age in place safely, with dignity, and with as much independence as possible. The Meals on Wheels Program is designed to fight food insecurity among homebound seniors, but it is so much more than that. Each healthy meal delivery brings a friendly face, a moment of connection, and a caring safety check. For many seniors, this visit may be the brightest part of their day. Last year, JFS volunteers delivered more than 41,000 meals to 250 homebound seniors in the community.
If you or a senior you know could benefit from this service, we still have space available and would love to help.
Please call (561) 852-3333 or visit ralesjfs.org for more information.

JFS would like to give a big shout out and thank you to all of the mentors who volunteer in our Community Mentoring Program! This program, supported by United Way of Palm Beach County and the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County, makes an immesurable difference in the lives of the mentees who participate in so many ways. Mentors give of their time, talents, and wisdom. They show up consistently, listen deeply, and help guide young people toward brighter futures. Their impact is felt not only in the moments they share, but in the confidence, resilience, and hope they help build.
On Thank Your Mentor Day, we invite you to celebrate the mentor in your life—the person who believed in you, supported you, or helped shape who you are today. Take a moment to reach out and say thank you.
Become a mentor through our JFS Community Mentoring Program. Your support will no doubt change two lives.
Learn more by contacting Community Mentoring Program Coordinator Lisa Cauff, by calling (561) 852-3329 or by email at LisaCa@ralesjfs.org. or get involved at ralesjfs.org.

February is Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance, and Inclusion Month (JDAIM)! In celebration of JDAIM, Rales JFS is excited to sponsor the showing of the movie "Once Upon My Mother" at the Adolph and Rose Levis JCC Jewish Film Festival on Sunday, February 7th at 7 pm. This film is part of the Judy Levis Krug Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival.

Drama | France 2025 | 102 min | French with English subtitles
In 1963, Esther gave birth to Roland, the youngest sibling of a large family. Roland was born with a clubfoot that prevented him from standing. Against everyone's advice, she promised her son that he would be able to walk just like everyone else and have a wonderful life. From that moment on, Esther devoted herself fully to ensuring this promise came true. Spanning decades of hardships and miracles, this film is the story of an incredible destiny and the greatest love of all: a mother's love for her child.
Director: Ken Scott

We invite you and your family to join us for an evening of entertainment, fostering understanding and acceptance for individuals of all abilities.

We want to share that, due to an unexpected circumstance, Allison Holker is unable to join us in person for the Reflections of Hope Luncheon on February 11, 2026. While we will miss her presence, we are still looking forward to a truly special and uplifting afternoon together. Reflections of Hope is a celebration of community, resilience, and connection, and we will be honored to hear powerful, heartfelt stories from community members that highlight healing, hope, and the importance of mental health support. We are deeply grateful to everyone who will be with us, coming together with compassion and generosity to strengthen our community. This promises to be a meaningful, inspiring gathering filled with warmth and hope.

Our VIP Reception will feature Master of Ceremonies, Glenn Glazer, Emmy Award-winning meteorologist and a member of the WPBF First Warning Weather Team. With a career that spans over 30 years, Glenn has served as emcee for the luncheon for many years. Glenn’s empathetic and charismatic style makes every guest feel welcome while keeping the focus on the importance of mental health and community.

You can still register for the luncheon at ralesjfs.org/ROH and be a part of this meaningful event.
