Big changes don’t start in the gym—they start right where you are.
🌟 This Month’s Movement Challenge:
Small wins lead to big changes. This week, choose one functional movement to work into your daily routine:
• While watching TV, stand up from your favorite chair or couch 5 times in a row
• Practice deep breathing while your coffee brews
• Balance on one foot while putting your shoe on
• March in place while brushing your teeth
• Reach overhead alternating arms while putting dishes away
• Do heel raises while washing your hands
• Take a few extra purposeful steps during phone calls
• Sit tall and engage your core at red lights or while seated
• Practice slow, controlled movements when getting in and out of bed
Movement does not have to be extra—it just has to be intentional.
The first step toward independence is believing it can happen right where you are.
