Gifts are used to expand and enhance our patient care services, invest in new technology and recruit the very finest healthcare professionals. Boca Raton Regional Hospital has a rich tradition of philanthropy. Half a century ago, individuals and businesses came together and raised the funds necessary to build a hospital, ensuring that quality healthcare would always be available right here in Boca Raton. Since then, the generous and compassionate spirit of the community has supported the Hospital, which has grown into a nationally acclaimed, regional center of medical excellence. Philanthropy is more important than ever before, as the Hospital faces unprecedented challenges. A year ago, 78-year-old Joseph Mishkin worried he would never play another round of golf. Debilitating back pain kept him chained to a walker, unable to hold his grandkids and fully enjoy his life.

But thanks to an innovative procedure called facet arthroplasty, performed by Boca Raton Regional Hospital neurosurgeon Frank Vrionis, MD, PhD, Joseph is now living pain-free!

Boca Raton Regional Hospital was once again recognized as a Best Hospital for Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report. This distinction โ€“ earned among a record 901 hospitals evaluated โ€“ underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for expectant families. These public ratings play an important role in helping parents, together with their prenatal care providers, make informed decisions about where to receive maternity care. Congratulations to our Toppel Family Place on this outstanding recognition.

๐Ÿ’– From heartbreak to hope, turning pain into purpose...

When single mom and entrepreneur Jennifer Zawadzki was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, she leaned on the same strength and positivity she built her business on โ€” the Future You Project, which sends inspirational gifts and messages from your โ€œfuture self.โ€

Through treatment at Lynn Cancer Institute, Jen never lost her spark โ€” even throwing a โ€œGetting Wiggy With Itโ€ party before chemo began. Her journey is a powerful reminder that early detection saves lives, and that joy, community, and self-love are part of healing.

Now cancer-free, Jen continues to uplift others and give back, including as a proud contributor to our Go Pink Luncheon. ๐ŸŒธ Come out on October 31st to see her shine the light of hope.

Jennifer Zawadzki is the founder of Future You Project, which offers inspirational gifts and cards to support people through tough times. The messages came in handy when, just as her business was flourishing, she was diagnosed last year with stage 4 breast cancer.
