The NCHA is n your email inbox. What does that mean? 🧐
It means you have the opportunity to help us, help you! Owls Care Health Promotion, and other on-campus departments, use data from the NCHA to inform our programming. Since each participating university collects data from their own campus, we get to know what OUR students need- and then we work with that!
Besides relevant outreach and resources, you can also get a neat decal when you show us your NCHA completion. Just stop by our office in SS-8 room 224, on the 2nd floor of the Breezeway (above Starbucks)!

AI doesn’t replace thinking, it supports thinking. Use tools to clarify, organize, and prepare, but keep your own brain in the loop. Always verify, cite sources accurately, and protect academic integrity. Your skills are what last long after the tool is closed.

This is your personal invitation from Vice President Dr. Faerman to have a bagel Feb 19th from 11am-12pm! Meet him on the Breezeway to get a bagel, a coffee or tea, and to learn about the National College Health Assessment (NCHA). 🥯 📝 🌟
Pro tip: If you show us your NCHA completion, you’ll get a giveaway‼️
Check your Florida Atlantic email for a link to the 20–30-minute NCHA digital survey. Your data is completely protected; the American College Health Association deletes that information before sending us the results! Your contribution will help the Division of Student Affairs provide relevant and useful resources to our campus.

Did you know there are 3 categories of STIs? 🧐
Parasitic STIs can be treated with antibiotics and special shampoos and creams. These STIs can be cured with antibiotics and special shampoos and creams, but you have to know you have one to get treated!
To avoid contracting or transmitting an STI, it is important to:
➡️Limit contact with s*xual fluids by using a barrier method. Sexual fluids can also be transferred manually or on s*x toys, washing your hands and toys is crucial.
➡️Avoid skin-to-skin contact with rashes, sores, blisters that may be symptoms of an STI. P***c lice can transfer from infected p***c hair to others’ p***c hair.
➡️Do not touch others’ blood if you have an open wound and do not share items that may be contaminated with others’ blood.
➡️Seek treatment for an STI if you are pregnant.
There is no 100% effective way to avoid getting an STI, which can transfer through non-s*xual activities. Getting tested is the only way to know your status and get tested!
Get low-cost testing at Student Health Services by making an appointment on their website or calling 561-297-3512.
