Setting boundaries is about the shift that happens when you decide your needs matter just as much as anyone else’s.

Most of us were never taught how to do this, so it feels uncomfortable at first. But boundaries are actually an act of kindness: they give people the roadmap to treat you well, and they give you permission to live in alignment with your values.

If you’ve ever felt guilty for saying no, or worried that setting limits would push people away, remember this: healthy boundaries don’t end relationships, they strengthen them.
