On Monday, we proudly celebrated the naming of the "Katz Family Discovery Garden" in honor of memory care resident Alan Katz.

Made possible through a generous gift from the Katz Foundation, this newly enhanced courtyard will serve as a vibrant, therapeutic outdoor space for residents and their loved ones — a place designed for connection, engagement, and joy.

During the ceremony, Alan’s son, Matthew Katz, shared heartfelt words about what Sinai has meant to their family and their desire to “pay it forward” for current residents and generations to come.

Planned enhancements to the garden include a tranquil koi pond, a butterfly garden, and an interactive, town center–inspired space to encourage meaningful engagement and connection. All should be complete in the next three to twelve months!

We are deeply grateful to the Katz family for their generosity and for helping us continue to create beautiful spaces where life is celebrated every day. 💙

Update: Sinai Residences Hurricane Melissa Disaster Relief

In the aftermath of the devastating hurricane, our Sinai Residences community—both employees and residents—came together to collect essential supplies for those in need in November.

Through these collective efforts, we filled ten 40-gallon containers with critical items. Last week, we delivered these supplies to Food For The Poor, a non-profit organization that will ensure they reach families in Jamaica directly.

Our community’s impact is truly tremendous, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed!

Today, we share in a moment of profound relief and gratitude.

After more than two years in captivity, the remaining hostages in Israel have finally been released.

This long-awaited homecoming brings comfort to families who have endured unimaginable heartache and separation. For many in our Sinai community, this news touches deeply and personally.

The emotions are complex — joy, sorrow, and reflection — as we give thanks for those reunited with loved ones while remembering those who were lost and those whose healing will take time.

May this moment remind us of the enduring strength of the human spirit and the power of hope, compassion, and unity — values that connect and comfort us all. 💙
