Just a few short weeks ago, local speech therapy clinics learned that BCBS-TX is planning to 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝟗𝟐𝟓𝟎𝟕 𝐛𝐲 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟐% 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.

This code is used every day to provide children across the nation with critical, medically necessary speech therapy services. SLPs and parents have concerns about how this corporate decision could affect BCBS-TX families and their ability to access quality healthcare services.

As the largest insurance company in the state, BCBS-TX has the ability to relieve the fears of parents of children with special needs and the SLPs that serve them.

We urge Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas to stop the cut to 92507 so that speech therapists can continue to provide quality services to our kids and their families.
