🤓I had an amazing opportunity sharing my journey in optometry this past weekend at our annual TOA Summit to our next generation of eye doctors! I was also able to sponsor one student this year to fully experience TOA Summit 2025🤩

📚Collaborating with colleagues, discussing new technology and advancements in eye care, as well as seeing some mentors of mine who helped shape and inspire me in this career, be celebrated for their accomplishments made this event even better.

Standing on the shoulders of giants is an understatement.

…🫣but you wind up with a piece of bark in your eye‼️

Quick reminder to always wear safety glasses when doing yard work 🥽

We safely removed the piece of bark that was embedded in his eye, started him on appropriate therapy and he walked out feeling 90% better!
•
As with any organic matter, fungal infections are always possible, so we are keeping an 👁️ on him as he continues to heal.
