Kid's Story & Art: Do Frogs Drink Hot Chocolate?

Snuggle in for a cozy winter story time designed to spark curiosity and creativity. This gentle, hands-on event invites young artists to explore how animals stay warm when the world gets chilly — all while sipping a warm cup of hot chocolate.

We’ll be reading Do Frogs Drink Hot Chocolate? How Animals Keep Warm, a playful, question‑and‑answer style book that invites kids to guess, giggle, and learn. Each page imagines silly winter scenarios — like frogs with mugs or penguins in sweaters — before revealing the real, fascinating ways animals survive the cold. It’s interactive, funny, and perfect for curious minds.

After the story, children will create an age‑appropriate winter animal art project inspired by the creatures we meet in the book.

Yall when I say I am so lucky to have the team of instructors I have, it is not just because of their talents. Our team is made up of some of the most thoughtful and giving spirited souls.

When we first opened, I made stockings for each staff member and our regular interns. My plan was to fill it with little things during the holidays to show my appreciation. Then everyone decided to add to each other's stockings. Well then it grew to the stockings just weren't enough room and we had to add a little tree to put gifts under.

The gifts aren't lavish or expensive, but each one has had a lot of thought put into it to match the vibe of the team member receiving it.

I'm so very proud to have each and every one of the instructors that make Twisted Moon Studios such a special place.

We had so much fun hosting this holiday work party for Oconee Preschool Academy. They chose to paint their own pottery so everyone got to pick their favorite piece to paint.
