So what we seem to have here is the electrical thingy next to the other electrical thingy...oh who are we kidding, we have no idea what is broken on one of our kilns, but never fear because we have our resident handyman on the job.

But it does mean we are only firing one kiln right now, so it may be an extra day wait on your pottery. But it will be worth it because we see what amazing artists you are!

❄️ THE GREAT ICE DAY ILLUSTRATION CHALLENGE ❄️

With the studio closed tomorrow due to the ice storm, we’re bringing the creativity online!

We’re hosting a Winter Day Illustration Contest for three age groups:
Elementary • Middle School • High School

Each group will illustrate a classic winter poem (all posted in the next slides).
Find your poem, read it, and create an illustration inspired by any moment, image, or feeling from the text. You may use any medium: pencil, markers, paint, etc.

How to Enter:
• Create your artwork at home
• Take a clear photo of your finished piece
• Include student first name, grade & an email address
• Send it to us via DM
• Deadline: Monday 1/26 at 3:00 PM

Our staff will review all submissions and choose winners by 7:00 PM tomorrow evening.

Prizes:
🏆 1st Place (each age group): $25 Gift Card Voucher

We will remain closed tomorrow, Monday 1/26. Crochet students will be notified with make up class details.

If you are currently waiting on pottery to be fired, thank you for your patience. Believe it or not, weather temps impact how quickly we can fire as we have to monitor the health of the kiln in extreme cold weather as well as the pottery itself. So please allow us a few extra days to complete it all. If we lose power, this may also impact the firing time. Thank you for understanding! Stay warm, friends!
