With the time change, and it get's dark sooner, many people experience more feelings of sadness, depression, and lack of ambition. Come see us and make sure that your hormones are working optimally. Hormone Imbalance and Mental Health

When people's hormones are off, it may manifest as a mood disorder. What you think or feel may be chronic mood issues, could simply be irregular hormone levels.

This can look and fell like being restless, irritable, constantly fatigued, not feeling joy, having a low mood overall. Feelings of depression, anxiety, anger, ADHD, low libido and more can affect your daily life and your relationships.

Some things you can do to naturally balance hormones include going outside at sunrise to help set your circadian rthym, getting better sleep, eating a more balanced diet of fresh fruits and veggies grown locally and in season, moving more and exercise, meditation and prayer with gratitude (count those blessings), and laughing more.

New Year’s Day - CLOSED January 1st

Meet Mary Lynn Palmer

Mary Lynn Palmer is a lifelong resident of Bogata, Texas and a proud graduate of Rivercrest High School.

After earning her nursing degree from NTCC in 1996, Mary Lynn worked for over 20 years at Titus Regional Medical Center, primarily in Labor & Delivery and the Women’s Clinic. From 1996-2002, she also served patients through the McKellar/Moore clinic in Mount Pleasant. In 2004, she obtained her nurse practitioner license from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Mary Lynn was a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner from 2004-2015, offering care to victims across the area. In 2012, she brought healthcare home to Bogata, first through the Higgins Clinic and then by opening Bogata Health Clinic, her own private practice, in 2013.

Mary Lynn is currently battling metastatic breast cancer, which has spread to her spine and left femur. She is currently on Verzenio, which is $14,697.81 per month—and her insurance is refusing coverage. She also receives Fulvestrant injections every 2-4weeks, costing $1,500 per round of injections, and bone-strengthening infusions at $401 each.

Outside of her career, Mary Lynn is a devoted wife to Kenneth Palmer, proud mom of six, loving grandmother to ten, and member of the Bogata Missionary Baptist Church.
