Seems like the nice weather is bringing out the nice drinks.. Clients I ask that you do not come in for your massage after drinking. Even ONE drink. It’s an absolute contraindication.

It puts you and I at risk. Massage therapy can increase your intoxication levels- that alone is a problem. I don’t know how you are when you’re drinking. I never want to be put at risk or put you at risk.

It puts your health and wellbeing at risk. It thins the blood, can cause dizziness, and dehydration. Which do not help during muscle recovery.

I am over a year sober from alcohol. I don’t like smelling it in my safe space. I promise I can smell just the ONE drink you had. Please do not come into my space after drinking.

If I notice alcohol on your breath or that you brought it into my space, your massage will be cancelled and you’ll be charged full price. Pending the situation you may not be welcome back into my space.

Thank you for your understanding. I care about your health and I care about mine. 🫶🏻
