Setting the bed in preparation for my next client has become more sacred these days. The short time I get to spend time with them, listen to their story's, their pain, and hearing their struggles means more to me than anything I can have ever imagined.

Most of my career as a therapist was turn em and burn em...50 minute sessions in Vegas and likely would never see that person again. Now At Kaneh, my little sanctuary, I see what its really about. In a brief 60 or 90 minutes I get to share my gift and passion to touch people and in some way, lift their burdens and bring comfort and relief. I got to do that with Karla and Nina, both my beautiful friends fighting for their lives. Its unreal that they are gone now but what I wouldn't give to massage them one more time and believe for their healing.

Thankful for the time we get to spend together, to laugh, to cry, and to connect!

Yes, I believe the body still can heal but our complete healing will be in heaven with our maker.

I am forever grateful for the friendship of Nina and her influence on my life. She was a warrior for healing and fought hard until the end. She will forever be missed. Prayers for her family during this time and the world will not shine as bright but her light will forever flicker in my heart.

It's not goodbye, it's see you later my sweet friend.

Karla will be incredibly missed. If you were blessed enough to meet her and know her in her short time at Kaneh we wanted to share the news.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of her life. She fought hard and believed to the end that she would be healed but we know now she has entered into perfect peace and is in a place where there is no more sickness or sadness.

She is flying high!
