Is it a challenge to get in greens everyday?
We just found out it's National Green Juice Day! Make it a smoothie for better nutrition benefits. Smoothies retain the fiber from the fruits and vegetables which is so important for your GI tract, microbiome, and regular 💩
Swipe right for a recipe I like (from Nutribullet). If you don't have kale, sub in some spinach or whatever you have on hand. *I do not add essential greens

Drive safe this weekend!
Consider keeping these in your vehicle for emergencies:
sturdy ice scraper/snow brush
a blanket/blankets
a flashlight with new batteries
non-perishable snacks
cat litter, salt, or sand
a shovel
jumper cables
flares
cell charger
and my dad never let us go below 1/4 tank of gas in the winter (some will say 1/2 tank)

Did you know that melanoma is the deadliest type of skin cancer?
It can occur in non-sun exposed areas (think ge****ls, palms, and beneath fingernails and toenails)
UVB rays are rays from the sun that cause sunBurns
They are strongest between 10am and 2pm
Using sunscreen in addition to protective clothing is the best prevention

When sunscreen is applied correctly,
➡️ SPF 50 blocks 99% of UVB rays
➡️ SPF 30 blocks 97% of UVB rays
➡️ SPF 15 blocks 93% of UVB rays

Apply:
➡️ 1/3-1/2 tsp to face and neck *don't forget ears!
➡️ 1 -1.5 oz to body (shot glass amount) *don't forget back of hands and behind your knees!
➡️ reapply every 2 hours, more frequently if you've been in the water or sweating.
