We have less than a week till a new month, and I don’t know about you, but I love to spend the last week of the month preparing my self for the next month to come.
Currently in my own life, I’m going through some struggle with reproductive issues, high levels of stress, and to be honest, have had such a hard time loving and embracing vulnerability. Sometimes, when I feel overwhelmed with to much going on, I neglect to take care of myself. It’s one of the reasons I actually started my journey in yoga and the thing that made me want to be a teacher. How can do me turn that around, not sink into it, and start to care for themselves more when one truly didn’t feel like it?
For me, it’s a return to movement, a return to journaling, pranayama, meditation, and self care.
I met with an Ayurvedic counselor last month, and last night, we were able to meet again for her plan for me to tackle these issues I’ve been having for years from the inside out. What I found most interesting? The whole plans is revolves around self- self care, self massage, meditation, pranayama, movement, being cautious of what things I’m eating that are aggravating my doshas or even what more I could be drinking/eating to help bring me back into balance- all the things I haven’t been paying attention to as much since all my symptoms started coming back. For the next 20 days at least but likely more, I’ll be following my plan to a T and making my self care a priority. Because I know that I am important and deserve to make myself and my a health a priority, just like you! ❤️
So our journal prompts this week are about self. About what you can do over the next month to come back to self, to allow self care to be a priority, to take back the control over your happiness and life, or even just to start concentrating more on yourself again.
Will you be journaling with me?
Happy journaling!
