What if the real issue isn’t your symptoms 🤔
but how your body is communicating? 🧠

Dr. Christian Price from Summit Life Chiropractic was recently featured on the Root Cause Holistic Health Podcast to talk about something most people overlook... the nervous system 🌿

In this NEW episode, he shares how chiropractic care supports whole-body health, especially for families in Boise navigating stress, chronic symptoms, and nervous system dysregulation ⚡

Here’s what you’ll learn:
✔ Why your nervous system controls nearly every function in the body
✔ How spinal misalignment can interfere with healing including birth trauma
✔ Why chiropractic care is powerful for both adults and children 👶 plus pregnant mothers
✔ How stress impacts your body more than you think & what to do

Chiropractic adjustments do FAR more than relieve back pain, they help restore your body’s ability to regulate itself, heal naturally, and function the way it was designed ✨

If you’ve been searching for real answers, not quick fixes, this episode is for you 💛

Pregnant and wondering if nervous system scans are actually worth it… or just another “nice extra”? 🤍

Let’s be real. This is not fluff.

During pregnancy, your body isn’t just growing a baby. It’s constantly adapting at a neurological level to support two lives at once.

At our office, we use PXDocs insight scans to take an objective look at how your nervous system is functioning in this season.

✨ Why that matters

So many moms are told “everything looks fine” but still feel overwhelmed, tense, or off.

These scans help us see what’s underneath:

• Where stress is stored in your body
• If your system is stuck in fight or flight
• How well you’re adapting to physical + emotional changes
• Whether your system is in true rest and regulation

This gives us a starting point rooted in data, not guesses.

✨ Why does a PXDocs provider matters on your birth team? -> Think of this as your nervous system advocate.

A PXDocs provider is trained to read your scans and create care that supports YOU. Not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Because every pregnancy and every nervous system is different.

With consistent, neurologically focused care, you’re not just getting adjusted. You’re being supported through a major transformation.

✨ What moms often notice

As your system becomes more regulated:

• Deeper, more restorative sleep
• Less tension, more ease in movement
• More emotional steadiness
• A stronger connection to baby
• Greater confidence heading into birth

And we don’t just hope it’s working. We track it.

Follow up scans let you actually see your body shifting in real time.

✨ The bigger picture

A more regulated nervous system supports a calmer environment for your baby to grow and develop.

That matters more than most moms are told.

If spring in Boise feels more stressful than refreshing… this is for you 🌿

Seasonal allergies, also known as hay fever or allergic rhinitis, are reactions that show up during certain times of the year when pollen levels rise. Trees, grasses, and weeds release pollen into the air, and for many families across the Treasure Valley, that means months of sneezing, congestion, itchy eyes, and breathing struggles like asthma flare ups and being short of breath.

Kids are especially vulnerable because their immune systems are still developing. ⬅️

But here’s where the conversation shifts…

If it were just pollen, everyone would react the same way.

They don’t.

Some kids play outside all day with no issue, while others struggle every single season.

So what’s the difference?

It’s not just exposure. It’s the response. 🧠

When the nervous system is overwhelmed and stuck in stress mode, it can shift into fight or flight. This can lead to an overactive, hypersensitive immune response.

• Inflammation increases
• Histamines spike
• Sinuses don’t drain well
• The system gets “backed up”

So if you’ve tried everything…
Local honey every day 🍯
Air purifiers in every room
Daily allergy meds
Steroids during flare-ups
Inhaler use increasing

…and it still feels like you’re managing it, not resolving it

This is for you 🤍

“It wasn’t just pollen. It was how my nervous system was responding.”

At Summit Life Chiropractic in Boise, we use advanced scans to measure nervous system stress, regulation, and adaptability.

When the nervous system is more balanced, the immune system can respond more appropriately, not overreact.

Boise and Treasure Valley families, you’re not alone in this.

“They said it was just pollen.” 🤧

So I did everything “right.”
Air purifiers. Clean home. Limiting pet hair. Daily meds. Inhalers, nasal sprays, even steroids.

And still… I felt short of breath.

Every spring it was the same. Congestion. Runny nose. Itchy eyes. Flare-ups that never fully went away.

My allergist had me doing breathing tests for over a years. At my last visit, they asked,
“What’s different this year?”

That’s when it clicked.

I told them the only thing that had changed…
I started focusing on my nervous system.

So how did I do it? ⬇️

Here’s what many families are not told.

Seasonal allergies affect about 1 in 4 children in the U.S. 📊 But it is not just about pollen. It is an immune response, and the nervous system helps regulate that response.

When the body stays in stress mode, it can overreact to triggers like pollen, leading to stronger, longer-lasting symptoms.

That is why many families feel stuck. Medications and environmental changes may help temporarily, but do not always address the root.

Neuro-focused chiropractic care helps the nervous system shift out of stress mode. Gentle adjustments support better brain-body communication, which can improve immune response, breathing patterns, and even asthma flare-ups over time.

At Summit Life Chiropractic in Boise, we are proud providers with PX Docs. Our scans help us see how stress may be impacting your body.

When the nervous system begins to regulate, many notice better breathing, fewer flare-ups, and improved resilience 💛

“Spring Break? More like nervous system delays.” 😅

Ever notice your child finally gets a break from school… and then suddenly gets sick? You are not imagining it.

Many families see this pattern. The schedule slows down, the body finally exhales, and then fatigue, sniffles, headaches, or a bug show up right when break begins 🤧

The nervous system plays a HUGE role.

Think of it like a car. During the school year many kids are pushed into constant go mode. Early mornings, school pressure, sports, screens, and social demands keep the gas pedal down.

But the brakes matter too.

If the nervous system is not regulating well, the body keeps pushing until it finally stops all at once. That crash out moment can look like exhaustion, lowered immunity, or getting sick right when life slows down.

A few reasons this happens during breaks:
• routines suddenly change (sleep and schedule shifts)
• the body finally releases built-up stress
• the immune system catches up after busy weeks
• kids carry sleep debt from the school schedule
• travel, sugar, and late nights add extra stress

The nervous system controls sleep, immune function, digestion, and recovery. When kids stay in fight or flight too long, the body has a harder time staying resilient.

One of our patients, Emily, shared she used to get sick after midterms, finals, and every school break. Years later she realized she was burnt out. After focusing on her nervous system and seeing her scans, everything clicked. Now she rarely gets sick and recovers much faster 💛

At Summit Life Chiropractic in Boise, we are proud providers with PX Docs and use gentle nervous system scans to see how kids are handling stress and recovery.

✨ Comment BOOST and we’ll send you the PXDocs article on the “Back-to-School Crashout” so you can learn how to better support your child’s nervous system.

How does your family’s Nervous System do on breaks?

“Levi is barely getting sick this year.” ❤️

For Levi’s mom, this is a huge win.

For years, Levi’s little body was stuck in a cycle of chronic illness and nervous system exhaustion. He would get sick constantly, barely recovering from one illness before the next began. His body simply struggled to bounce back.

Levi also lives with Dystonia, a neurological movement disorder that causes involuntary muscle contractions, abnormal postures, and difficulty with coordinated movement.

Many families have never heard of Dystonia, but it is more common than people realize. In the United States, over 300,000 people are living with Dystonia, making it the 3rd most common movement disorder after essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease.

When a child’s nervous system is constantly working overtime to organize movement, it can drain the body’s ability to recover, regulate, and fight illness.

Levi’s family was already doing therapies and searching for answers, but something deeper still seemed off.

A friend suggested Summit Life because of our PX Docs specialty in nervous system focused chiropractic care.

At Levi’s first visit, we performed advanced nervous system scans that measure how well the brain and body communicate. His scans showed significant stress patterns, meaning his nervous system was stuck in survival mode instead of healing mode.

Through consistent neurologically focused chiropractic care, Levi’s nervous system began to shift. Over the past several months, his scans have drastically improved, showing a better balance between stress and recovery.

This year, Levi is barely getting sick. When he does, it is usually mild sniffles, and he recovers quickly.

For a child navigating Dystonia, building nervous system resilience can make a powerful difference.

Levi is stronger, more resilient, and thriving. ✋

Boise parents, if your child struggles with frequent illness or neurological challenges, there may be deeper nervous system stress involved.

It is in fact not Treyson’s first time. 🤭

There is always a first time for an adjustment no matter how young or old.

The truth is, it’s more than just an adjustment, it’s a total nervous system reset. 🪴
