Remember this about core strength…
You can do all the ab exercises and still not see the results you’re hoping for postpartum.
Here are a few reasons your core work might not be working:
✨ You’re not actually engaging your deep core — if you notice coning, doming, or lower belly pooching, your muscles aren’t activating in the right sequence.
✨ You’re doing too much — allow for two days recovery, just like any other muscle group
✨ You’ve stopped progressing — your core needs to be challenged over time to continue rebuilding strength and function.
✨ You’re not coordinating your breath — breath and pressure management are key for proper pelvic floor and abdominal activation.
✨ You’re underfueling — your body needs enough protein and calories to rebuild muscle and tissue postpartum.
