I want to talk about something deeply human, profoundly generous, and increasingly important in our world surrogacy, and what it means to be a surrogate.

Surrogacy is, at its heart, an act of hope. It is a path that allows individuals and couples who may not otherwise be able to carry a pregnancy to experience the joy of becoming parents. This includes people facing infertility, medical conditions, same-sex couples, and others whose journey to parenthood looks different from what they once imagined.

But while we often focus on the families created through surrogacy, today I want to shine a light on the surrogates themselves and the people who stand beside them.

A surrogate is more than a medical participant in a process. A surrogate is someone who makes a conscious, compassionate decision to help bring life into the world for someone else. It is a commitment that requires emotional strength, phvsical resilience, and an extraordinary level of empathy.

Being a surrogate is not simply about carrying a pregnancy it is about carrying someone else’s dream.

And no surrogate walks that journey alone ❤️

SHOTS! They are a true pain, butt (see what I did there 🤣) hormones are so very important to help that embryo to have a chance at sticking! Sometimes medications are oral, patches or suppositories but most often they are in self administered injections for about 10 weeks starting before the embryo transfer. We are located in the state of Idaho in the wonderful city of Boise. We work with intended parents both domestically and internationally.
