We at Focus Physical Therapy are deeply saddened by the recent
passing of a member of our clinic family. Kristina was such a joyful
presence in the office. Her energy and smile could light up any room.

We want to send our heart-felt condolences to Kristina’s family and
friends. She was a great friend and colleague, and will be truly
missed by all.

As you may know, the CDC now recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings specifically in the hopes of slowing the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. Here at Focus, we will be wearing cloth face masks and if you feel more comfortable wearing one as well, please do.

Cloth face coverings can be fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost. The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators. Those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders, as recommended by current CDC guidance.

We are here for you - we will get through these challenging times together.

Physical Therapy is innately hands-on, however, during these times of uncertainty with Covid-19 we understand some patients may be uncomfortable leaving their home and visiting us. We share everyone’s concerns and we are taking all necessary precautions to maintain a safe environment here at the Focus clinic. To address these concerns we are excited to announce that we now are able to offer phone & video visits for some patients depending on the care they need. Please call the office for more information.

Regarding Idaho's "Shelter in Place" Announcement.

We want to assure you that we take the health of our community and patients very seriously. Like you, we're closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We wanted to send out a quick note in response to Governor Little's "Shelter In Place" announcement this afternoon. Here at Focus, we are considered an "essential business" which allows us to stay open and treat our patients. As we stated in our previous email, we are taking extra steps to ensure the well-being of everyone who visits our clinic.
-We have enhanced our cleaning methods and increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting.
-We have removed all magazines, books & the coffee station from our waiting room.
-"Checking-in" on the sign-in sheet is no longer requested.
-We continue to offer hand sanitizer in our waiting room.
-Each patient is required to wash their hands prior to treatment.
-We’re following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) & federal agencies, to collect the most up-to-the-minute information to ensure the actions we're taking are comprehensive and expedient.

If you are not feeling 100%, we request that you please give us a call so that we may postpone your appointment to a later date. If you don't feel comfortable with leaving your home and coming to your appointment, please just let us know and we will be happy to cancel without a "cancellation fee". We will miss seeing our patients who can't make it in at this time, but we understand that we are all in this together!
