Edge Dental Arts, a high quality fixed restorations dental laboratory, is seeking an experienced Dental Technician.

The ideal candidate must have recent or previous experience as a dental technician. Attributes include strong hand-eye coordination, excellent work ethic, the ability to work in a team setting; ability to take direction, constructive criticism, and be willing to improve on his/her basic skills to provide durable, esthetic, and optimal oral health restorations for dental patients.

Skills & Abilities

Advanced knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques

Knowledge of CAD/CAM programs in conjunction with milling machines and sintering ovens, a plus but not a must

Responsible for building, contouring, and finishing of high end anterior and posterior restorations including PFM, eMax, Zirconia and implant restorations
Proficient in ceramics and waxing

Ability to produce artistic, esthetic, and consistent, high-quality porcelain work

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Today marks the 1 yr anniversary of Edge Dental Arts. If you would have told me 18 months ago that I would have ever decided to pursue owning my own lab, I would have told you that you were crazy. It was a very tough decision to leave behind a great employer and a job that I really loved. It was definitely a comfortable situation. But a small idea took hold and I had to take the chance on myself. I am glad I did. I am grateful that I have such a supportive wife and family. I am amazed at the growth that my little one man lab has experienced. Today I celebrate with the delivery of my new exocad scan/design system.

Phase one of a full smile makeover. All Porcelain veneers/crowns #6-13 & 20-29 and PMMA temporary bridge on #3-5. #4 is missing and will be treated with an implant and crown along with all other posterior teeth in phase two.
