As I was bouncing around on stage at Treefort Muisc Hall yesterday, preparing to teach a segment at festival, my pocket rock slid out of my sports bra and onto the floor. No big deal, I’ll pick it up and put it back, like I do every time this happens. But then shared the incredible insight of storing it in the small opening on the side of most sports bras, where you remove the pad. Brilliant!! I love pocket rocks. I love all rocks. They ground me. And they are always sliding out of my bra and landing on the floor. Not this time. My pocket rock stayed, steady and secure, next to my heart during the entire practice- even when Randee and Mia had us twerking on stage! 😝
So why do I share this bizarre story? Firstly, if you’re into chest crystals, thank Jenn at ZenRiot for this simple fix to a small, but consistent complication that comes with storing them in your top. And secondly, interdependence. Collaboration. More minds are better than one.
When I first dove into entrepreneurship with SOULar Power in 2022, it was just me. My ideas, my visions, my fallen chest crystals. Then I met Ami. Through the interconnectedness of our ideas, visions, and heart-centered intentions, LITL was born. I am earth energy and she brings the sky. The studio would be nothing without one or the other. We are authentic- exactly who we are and always seeking to be better. Imperfectly perfect. Steady and secure ❤️
This morning, as I slide my pocket rock into the slit on the side of my bra, it fills me with a sense of connectedness. Not just to the grounding energy of the rock, but to all the beautiful souls out there, who understand that you can’t be “it all”. Don’t even try. You’ll waste an awful lot of time and energy picking up dropped rocks ✨
