For those of you who have been following The Growing Perk, we are starting a new opportunity to raise funds for the coffee shop. Coming to you next month inside of Potter's Tea House in Meridian!

We are a local candy shop that is run by individuals with developmental disabilities in Boise, Idaho.

I'm getting really excited to get the shop up and running! We are still waiting for the perfect, affordable option for the location but still working on it. Here is what I see for the future:

Music and movement days
Story time
Planned social gatherings
Play area for kids
One on one rooms
Conference room that can be reserved for meetings
Rustic feel
Welcoming environment
Friendly and welcoming employees
Class trips
Games and activities for all
Great tasting coffee and snacks..and our wonderful customers!

I have been working tirelessly to find a location that will be perfect for our little coffee shop. I'm hoping to find something affordable in the mall area. I hope you are all having a great week!

I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing coffee shop in Georgia and the owner and employees were huge inspirations for me!

Independent Coffee House with unique and cozy atmosphere that also employs adults with special needs.
