Treecher Spotlight 🌿

Kimberly teaches yoga in a way that welcomes every BODY.

Her classes weave movement, breath, and alignment with something deeper. Stories, myths, and the wisdom of yoga traditions that remind us why this practice has been passed down for generations.

Yoga also became personal for Kimberly. After being affected by scoliosis in her early 20s, she discovered through consistent practice that the body can change, strengthen, and heal.

That experience continues to shape the way she teaches today. With compassion, creativity, and a belief that yoga is a lifelong practice of learning.

At Yoga Tree if Boise, Kimberly invites students to move with curiosity, listen to their bodies, and remember that flexibility is not just physical. It’s body, mind, and spirit.

We’re grateful for the inspiration and storytelling she brings to our community.

Treecher Spotlight 🌿

Ilan’s classes are grounded, thoughtful, and deeply supportive.

With decades of experience in physical therapy and years of practice in yoga, Qigong, and Tai Chi, his teaching blends structure with subtlety. In his classes, movement is intentional, alignment is supportive, and listening comes first.

This is yoga that honors the body, encourages ease, and supports you exactly where you are.

We’re grateful for the steadiness and care Ilan brings to the Yoga Tree of Boise community.

I genuinely feel I’m outside the “norm.”
But really, define normal.

Every yoga studio carries the imprint of the person who built it. Their values. Their boundaries. Their way of holding space.

This is why having choices in yoga studios matters.
And why Yoga Tree of Boise exists the way it does.

For 18 years, this has been a space rooted in respect, presence, and safety.

Safe does not mean curated. Safe means you can arrive as yourself and know you’ll be met with care.

Community shapes a room.
Beyond the postures, yoga is about discernment.

How we show up.
How we treat one another.
And the spaces we choose to practice in.

This is one of them.

Tree-cher Spotlight 🌿

“Teaching yoga for me is being able to support people in feeling better physically and mentally. If I can help someone walk out the door feeling a little bit better than when they walked in, I’m stoked! It seems we all want the same thing. To feel good in our bodies and peace in our minds.

Teaching at Yoga Tree has been a gift. A beautiful space with amazing students.”

We’re grateful for teachers like Colbie who hold space with heart, presence, and care.

Come practice with her and see how it feels.

Content day truth.

Showing up for content day feels a lot like showing up to your first yoga class.

You overthink it.
You find reasons not to go.
You wonder if you belong.
And then you show up anyway.

So consider this your invitation.
To your first yoga class.
Or your second.
Or your first one in a while.

One of my favorite reminders comes from Eleanor Roosevelt:
“Do one thing every day that scares you.”

Sometimes that brave thing is simply walking through the door.

We’ll meet you there 🤍

Show up. I dare you.

Tree-cher Spotlight 🌿

Pull back the curtain and step in.

For Jill, teaching yoga today means creating a space where people can explore the connection between their physical body, their breath, and their inner self. Her classes are an invitation to move with intention, breathe deeply, and discover a sense of peace and resilience that carries beyond the mat.

Yoga Tree of Boise is a vibe. A welcoming one. A place built on connection, care, and community.

Jill’s intention as a teacher is simple and powerful.
You are accepted exactly where you are today. She’s here to help you find tools for holistic well-being and support a balanced life, in and out of the studio.

This is your invitation.
Shoop shoop your way onto the mat 🤍

Voices of the Tree 🤍

“Yoga with Jen, the owner and inspiration behind Yoga Tree of Boise, has rocked my yoga world. After almost fifty years of practice, my understanding has deepened in ways I could only imagine.”

This is why we practice.

Grateful for the people who walk through our doors, bring their lived experience, and share the space with curiosity, courage, and breath.

Thank you for trusting the practice.

January doesn’t have to come with pressure.

Instead of resolutions, we work with intention. In yoga, this is called a sinkalpa, a meaningful vow that guides how we show up, not who we think we need to become.

Beyond asana, the practice asks something quieter.

How do we cultivate peace within ourselves, especially when the world feels loud?

Aum Shantih Shantih Shantih.

Peace in thought. Peace in word. Peace in action.

Come as you are. Googly eyes welcome 👀🤍
