🚨📻 This week, we're talking about the people behind the radio — and we have some people to thank. 🎙️ It's National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week — Dispatch Appreciation Week! ❤️

This week, we're honoring the people who make every emergency response possible — Dispatchers. From 911 centers to private communications, rural communities to busy urban corridors, you are the steady thread that holds public safety together across all of Idaho and beyond. At ART, every call we run starts long before we ever hit the road — and we know that it starts with you. Thank you for being the voice in the chaos, the calm before the storm, and the reason help arrives at all.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

🥊🚑 Fight night is back, Boise.

Acute Rescue will be cageside for Front Street Fights this Friday, April 10 at Idaho Central Arena.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Fights start at 7:00 PM—and from that first bell, it’s all gas, no brakes.

This is where the hits are heavy, the pace is relentless, and every round matters. We’ll be there for every takedown, every exchange, and every moment that reminds you why fight night hits different.

Our team is ready behind the scenes so the action can stay front and center.

❤️🏒 Our hearts are officially on ice… and we’re LOVING it.

Big congrats to the Idaho Steelheads on punching their ticket to the playoffs! Around here, that’s what we call a power play for the heart.

From the first puck drop to the final buzzer, this team keeps Boise fired up—and now things are about to get even cooler. Playoff hockey hits different… faster, louder, and just a little more heart-pounding (don’t worry, we’re trained for that).

Acute Rescue is ready to be there for every check, every goal, and every edge-of-your-seat moment—keeping fans safe while the Steelheads heat up the ice.

Let’s go, Steelheads—break hearts (the good kind) and bring home that cup. 🏆❄️

⚽🚑 Boise, it’s finally here.

The first AC Boise home match against the Spokane Veloctiy is about to kick off, and we could not be more excited to be part of it.

From the moment you walk into the stadium—the energy, the views, the atmosphere—you can tell this is something special. The pitch looks incredible, the stands are ready, and the players are set to bring a whole new level of professional soccer to the Treasure Valley.

Acute Rescue is proud to be on-site providing medical support for both the players and the fans, alongside our partners at Saint Alphonsus Sports Medicine and Saint Alphonsus Medical Center. Big moments like this deserve a team like this - together, we're ready for anything, so everyone can focus on the match, the crowd, and the most of all, the experience.

We’re ready for the noise, the goals, and that first home-game energy Boise has been waiting for.

Let’s go, AC Boise. ⚽🔥

🐰🏃‍♂️ This is not your average race… this one comes with eggs.

Acute Rescue is out at Ann Morrison Park for the YMCA Easter Run, where runners are tackling the 5K and 1-mile while also trying to resist the very real urge to stop and grab eggs along the route.

Because nothing says “serious athletic event” like debating whether to sprint the finish… or detour for a plastic egg full of candy.

📍 Ann Morrison Park
📅 Today (March 4)
⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

We’ll be standing by for the usual:
• Slips, trips, and “I zigged when I should’ve zagged for that egg”
• Overachievers who turned a fun run into an Olympic trial
• Kids (and let’s be honest… adults) fueled entirely by jellybeans

Run fast, hunt smart, and remember—you can’t PR if you stop for every egg… but we respect the commitment.

🐣🚑 Eggs will be flying, baskets will be overflowing, and sugar levels will be… questionable.

Acute Rescue is proud to be providing medical support at the Capital Community Egg Hunt for the 2nd year in a row, this Saturday at Julius Kleiner Park in Meridian!

From 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM, thousands of kids will be on a mission (150,000+ candy filled eggs worth of motivation), with a kids show, bounce houses, food trucks, and even skydiving bunnies 🪂🐰 dropping in for the fun.

We’ll be there for the bumps, scrapes, and “I ran too fast for that egg” moments—so families can focus on the important stuff… like judging the mascot dance off , watching the kids team performance, and keeping track of which kid had the most candy 🍬.

📍 Julius Kleiner Park, Meridian
📅 Saturday, April 4th
⏰ 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Look for our EMT in uniform in our golf cart —we’ll be standing by, fully equipped, and sadly not competing in the egg hunt (HR said no 😢). We'll see you for the fun!

✂️🚑 A big day for patient care in the Treasure Valley.

Acute Rescue & Transport was honored to attend the ribbon cutting for the expansion at Saint Alphonsus Regional Rehabilitation Hospital today. This investment in rehabilitation care is a meaningful step forward for our community and the patients who rely on these services every day.

The hospital's expansion adds 20 new private patient rooms, increasing total capacity to 60, along with a four-station dialysis suite, expanded dayroom space for therapy and group dining, and improved walkways to better support patient flow throughout the facility.

Thank you to Congressman Mike Simpson for joining the celebration, and to the entire team at Saint Alphonsus Regional Rehabilitaion Hospital—your leadership, partnership, and commitment to patient-centered care are evident in every detail of this expansion.

We’re proud to partner with you and look forward to continuing to support your patients with safe, reliable transport when they need it most.

On the evening of March 17, Acute Rescue was requested by the Boise County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a search for two overdue hikers who had become stranded overnight in cold conditions. The pair were cold, low on food, and one had minor injuries that made hiking out difficult without assistance.

Using location data from the hikers’ cell phones, responding teams were able to narrow their position and begin a coordinated response. Boise County Deputies made contact with the hikers shortly after midnight, followed by Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue teams who provided warming, food, and initial care. Boise Police Department’s Drone Team supported the operation with overhead lighting, helping crews safely navigate the terrain in the dark.

Once all teams returned to base, our paramedics evaluated the hikers, and we’re thankful to report everyone was able to get out safely.

We’re grateful to work alongside Boise County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue, and Boise Police Department’s Drone Team. This was a great example of how strong coordination and community support help bring challenging backcountry incidents to a safe conclusion.

We’re feeling extra hoppy to be back at the Ste. Chapelle Winery for their Helicopter Easter Egg Drop today, Saturday, March 28, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It’s going to be an egg-stra special day, and Acute Rescue will be on site to keep every bunny safe while the eggs rain down from above.

Egg Hunt Schedule:
12:05 PM – Little Kid Egg Hunt (under age 2)
12:15 PM – Kids ages 2–6 Egg Hunt
12:25 PM – Helicopter Easter Egg Drop followed by Kids ages 6+ Egg Hunt
1:00 PM – Adult Egg Hunt (because grown-ups deserve treats too)

There will be plenty to fun in the sun —meet the Easter Bunny, hop into a photo with a vintage 1972 Chevy pickup, and enjoy a jump house, food trucks, popcorn, face painting, crafts, music, and of course Ste. Chapelle’s wine as well as other refreshments (of the non-alchoholic variety).

We’ll be there all day, ready to spring into action if needed, so you can focus on hunting eggs, making memories, and having an egg-cellent time.

Acute Rescue is proud to be providing on-site medical coverage for the Idaho Regional FIRST® Robotics Competition at the Ford Idaho Center on March 27–28.

Throughout the weekend, students from across the region will showcase their engineering, programming, and teamwork skills as they compete in a fast-paced robotics competition designed to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. FIRST® programs emphasize creativity, collaboration, and “Gracious Professionalism®,” values we’re honored to support while helping keep participants, mentors, and spectators safe.

We look forward to supporting an event that celebrates science, technology, and the incredible talent of these teams as they bring their robots—and their ideas—to life.
