You can always count on a smile from Rosemary when you visit Encore. She loves to join in on bake club, target games, and musical activities! Rosemary is an absolute joy to be around and we couldn't be ☘️luckier☘️ that she is part of our Encore family.

It hit 62 degrees in Bolingbrook today! That means it’s time to bring back Ice Cream Fridays. Chef Robert and his team put together a ✨delicious✨ ice cream sundae bar for our residents and visitors!

We’re manifesting some more warm weather and sweet treats in the future!

Strike!! 🎳❌🙌

Today we broke out the bowling pins and residents took turns showing off their skills! There were many cheers for strikes and spares as we were blown away by everyone’s talent.

Now all we need is a pitcher of beer and nachos! Maybe next time 😉

Weekends are for pampering!

Every Saturday our Life Enrichment Director gathers the ladies of Encore and paints nails! Alexis even uses gel polish so there’s no waiting to jump back into the day.

You never grow out of some things, including getting your nails done. After a fresh manicure and hand massage, our residents are ready to take on the week!

Our halls are alive with music and joy this Valentine’s Day! 🎶💕

Residents swayed to timeless love songs, clapped along to favorites from years past, and even sang along. We snacked on festive sweet treats and fresh fruit, all served with extra sprinkles of love.

Today was a beautiful reminder that great music, good food, and cherished friends make the sweetest memories ❤️🍰

We are all about adapting to our residents’ needs and abilities at Encore! 💪🖌️

Water painting allows residents to express creativity and enjoy art without the pressure of a blank canvas or the complications of acrylic paint. Just a swipe of water with an easy grip brush, and a beautiful picture appears! Our residents were so pleased with their beautiful artwork.

No matter what your loved ones needs or abilities, we can find a way to get them involved!

A recent addition to the Encore family, it's been a joy to watch Virginia forging connections and becoming an active member of our community. Virginia is known for her aim in darts and target practice as well as never saying no to a cup of coffee.
