Dr. Brian McCarver is returning to his hometown and is now seeing patients on Fridays starting July 1st at WTMG Primary Care Bolivar!

He is joined by Amanda Russell, FNP. After working for many years in critical care, she realized there was a need for better primary care. She believes spending time with your patients and closely following their health conditions and developing healthy goals together keeps patients out of the hospital.

West Tennessee Healthcare is pleased to announce Executive Director Damon Mays as the 2020 President’s Award recipient (delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic). The President’s Award, which is awarded annually, recognizes a Department Director that goes above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities by exhibiting a selfless manner within their career, community and civic involvement. Mays was presented with the honor during the April Board of Trustees’ Meeting.

Damon has been an employee of West Tennessee Healthcare since 1985, serving most recently as the Executive Director of the West Tennessee Healthcare Regional Transfer Center. West Tennessee Healthcare President and Chief Executive Officer James Ross said, “Damon exemplifies servant leadership in our organization. He has devoted his entire career as a trusted leader, and we are so proud to honor him with this award.”
