It’s that time again Friends! I will be back to NY in less than two weeks and will reopen Memorial weekend. My schedule is open and ready for online booking!

Now for the bad news… this will be my last season at Sunny Hill. My landlord needs the space my practice is in and although he gave me an option of moving to another location, I have been considering a change in career that would better suit our life on the road and this seems like a good stopping point rather than investing more money into another location. I will be open until September and hope to see all my favorite faces during that time!

If you have gift certificates or sessions you purchased last year, please be sure to use them up before September 15 as that will be their official expiration and I will not be issuing refunds.

Only a few weeks left to book your appointment with me! My last day is September 26 and then we hit the road A week later! Massage Therapy FINALLY got specifically included into phase 3 reopening. Therapists are allowed to open with restrictions starting tomorrow! I, however, have not prepared my shop yet, so my official reopen date will be June 30th.

Below are my new summer hours. I can’t wait to see you all! The health of my clients is my top priority so the many changes and restrictions being put in place, which I will post soon, are important to ensure everyone’s safety. ❤️

I apologize for the lack of posts and info for Healing Hands. It’s obviously been a challenging couple of months for everyone and I hope this finds all of my clients healthy and safe.

As most know, I have been closed due to COVID-19 and have gotten many messages wondering when I will be reopening. At this time it doesn’t look like the state has plans for LMT’s to start business in the near future. Because of the nature of massage being in a closed space with close contact, we will likely be included in the last phases to reopen.

I know many of you are hurting and I miss my job terribly as most everyone does, I’m sure. But the safety of my clients and family comes first and foremost. This virus almost killed my mother last month, she was on a ventilator for 10 days but with the help of an amazing medical team and a group of prayer warriors, she survived and is now home continuing to heal. The effects of the virus are long lasting and I would never want another person to go through that nightmare, so I will wait until it’s safe.

Remember all the things I taught you, MOVE MOVE MOVE, it is your best friend! Stretch those pecs and front arm muscles for shoulder pain, let your head hang back off the side of a bed or couch to relieve tension in the neck. Try some online yoga! STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH! We are all in this together and I look forward to seeing you all when this mess is done! Be safe, WEAR YOUR MASKS, and I will see you all soon! ❤️❤️❤️

This weekend has been a tough one for me, trying to decide how to handle the social distancing in a business literally based on physical contact was no easy task. I was trying to plan out extra safety and sanitation measures but at the end of the day, massage and social distancing just don’t work. Lol

Public health and safety is always the number one concern and the best way to really protect my clients and myself is to close shop for now. I will be clearing my schedule until the end of March and will reassess the situation for April in a couple weeks. If you already have an appointment scheduled for April, I am leaving those as standing for now.

I know this will be a disappointment for many but I hope you all understand that this was not an easy decision for me.
Please be safe and listen to all of the precautions and guidelines being set. This is unchartered territory for all of us, but if we listen to our experts and trust the process they have created, we will all benefit in the long run.

Clients that I am having to cancel will be given first dibs when I reopen. My schedule is closed through April for online booking right now so that I can accommodate cancelled appointments first. Thank you all for being understanding and being the BEST CLIENTS ON THE PLANET. I truly am blessed.

We are nearing the end of the season at Sunny Hill which means a change in location and hours for Healing Hands.

I will once again be moving to Head 2 Toe Salon in Bolivar, NY to do massage starting October 28th. My limited hours will be:
Monday 2pm - 9pm
Tuesday 11am - 6pm

Unfortunately we will not be offering skincare or lash extensions at this location, however, Abby will continue her amazing work from her own space in Olean, NY out of her apartment.(more details coming soon)

My last day for massage at Sunny Hill will be October 8th, and Abby’s last day for lashes and skincare at the campground will be October 13th.
