🇺🇸 Veterans Day Celebration 🇺🇸

Today we had a wonderful Veterans Day celebration honoring our twelve veterans. The DAV joined us for a special ceremony, and Barbara filled the room with beautiful patriotic music that had everyone singing along.

The children from Polk County Christian School delivered heartfelt handmade cards that brought big smiles to our veterans’ faces. 💌

And, our veterans enjoyed a special lunch together in the activity room. It was a meaningful day full of gratitude, music, and fellowship. ❤️🤍💙

Meet our teammate, Brandy!
Brandy has been with us since 2024 and works as a Restorative/CNA.
Outside of work, Brandy enjoys nature walk with her husband.
When asked what she enjoy most about working here, Brandy said, “It's incredibly rewarding to be able to make a difference in someone's life, even in small ways like holding a hand or making them smile.”
We’re grateful to have Brandy on the team—thank you for all you do to make a difference for our residents and staff!

The countdown has officially started — we’ve collected postcards from 41 states so far! 🎉 That means we only have 9 more to go to reach our goal of all 50 states! 🇺🇸💌

We received postcards from Jane Wolff in Minnesota, our friends in Ohio and West Virginia, and The Wallenburgs, who sent one all the way from South Korea where they are working! 🇰🇷✉️

We’re getting so close to completing our 50 states challenge! We only need postcards from:
Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, and Wisconsin.

🎙️ What a treat today! The Bolivar Area Home School group stopped by to perform two old-fashioned radio dramas for our residents. They brought the stories to life with wonderful voice acting and creative sound effects — just like the golden days of radio! 📻✨

A big thank-you to these talented students for sharing their time and talent with us. Everyone loved the show!
