Why do patients give Malissa Phillips, FNP-BC, five stars?

"Malissa always listens to everything that I have to say and explains things to me. She is friendly and caring and tries to get to the root of the problem, orders the proper tests and then we go over things. If she thinks I need to see somebody else, she will make a referral. I just trust her with my health care." - Patient comment, Oct. 15, 2025.

For more information about Malissa Phillips, FNP-BC, or Butterfield Park Medical Center, call the clinic at 417-326-7676.

Protect Yourself This Flu Season!

Flu season is approaching. Getting your yearly flu shot is one of the easiest ways to stay healthy. The vaccine can help prevent illness or reduce symptoms if you do get sick.

Everyone 6 months and older should get vaccinated, according to the CDC. Itโ€™s especially important for pregnant individuals and those with ongoing health conditions.

Stay proactive this winter! Call us at 417-326-7676 to schedule your flu shot or learn more.

๐ŸŽƒ Keep Halloween Fun and Safe! ๐Ÿ‘ป

Halloween is an exciting night for kids. Help keep it safe with these simple tips.

Costume Safety: Choose fire-resistant costumes, add reflective tape or glow sticks and use makeup instead of masks.

Trick-or-Treating: Young children should have an adult with them. Plan safe, well-lit routes and remind kids not to enter strangersโ€™ homes. Wait until home to check treats.

Drivers: Slow down, stay alert and watch for children in dark clothing.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!
