Well, we didn’t waste any time.

Thanksgiving wrapped up and suddenly we found ourselves easing… alright, jumping into the Christmas spirit.

And what better way to do that than by turning our home into a little winter wonderland with seasonal decor and, of course, a Christmas tree. Our residents had so much fun decorating their own mini Christmas trees. The colors, the lights, the sparkle… it all came together to make our home look festive and feel even more welcoming.

It also gave each resident a chance to add their own memories, stories, and favorite touches of the season. It’s in moments like these that our personal approach and home-like atmosphere truly shines.

Gratitude fills Meadow View in a very special way this time of year.

We feel it in the gentle care our team provides every day, in the connections between our residents that make our community feel like home, and in every moment we spend together.

Today, as we sit down to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner, we’re especially thankful for our residents, who bring so much warmth and wisdom to our home. She strums, she smiles, and suddenly autumn feels a little brighter.

At Meadow View, we offer weekly music classes to bring our residents together, make them smile, and help them relax. And for those with cognitive changes, these moments also feel grounding and familiar.

Last week, we shared that recently at Meadow View, our residents had the opportunity to experience a very unexpected kind of therapy. One that came with four paws and a wagging tail.
