Review all medications prescribed, over the counter, and medications that your loved ones shared with others.
Check and Appropriately dispose of expired medications.
Refill prescriptions when needed.
Teach clients about the purpose of their medications. ( Hypertension, Thyroid, Cancer, Diabetes, Parkinson's, etc.)
Teach about the importance of the timing of medications.
Call with daily medication reminders and check for compliance.
Teach and reinforce the importance of taking the prescribe dosage for appropriate length of time ( Antibiotics, Steroids etc.)
