🌞✨ We loved being part of the Seaside Strides 5K!

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, our Sunshine State Counseling Center team proudly participated in and sponsored the event at North Collier Regional Park. 🏃‍♀️💙

The race supported Seaside Travels, a beautiful nonprofit offering therapeutic community outings for children with special needs and medically fragile conditions — helping families connect, explore, and grow together. 💫

We’re so grateful to support such a meaningful cause that promotes wellness, inclusion, and connection in our community. 🌈💛

Domestic violence is an extremely sensitive and nuanced subject, taking place in numerous forms. 📚 Our Clinical Director, Diana Salazar, LCSW-S, Registered Play Therapist-S, participated in an advanced training on the integration of Jungian psychology with EMDR, presented by Dr. Andrew J. Dobo, EMDR trainer and consultant.

This specialized training provided in-depth knowledge on applying Jungian concepts within the EMDR framework to enhance therapeutic outcomes. By expanding clinical expertise in these integrative approaches, we continue to strengthen the quality of care we provide to our clients.
