Need to see a doctor quickly? We have three practice locations -- one in Bonners Ferry, one in Sandpoint, and one in Priest River. Call our staff at either location, and we might be able to bump up your appointment date by scheduling you at an alternative location. Most of our frames have a minimum 2-year warranty against defects - if you have any issues with your purchase, come talk to us! We also carry budget options for the tighter seasons in life. Interested in prescription sunglasses? We are a participating retailer for Wiley X and a variety of other top-notch lines. Come by and browse when we're open!

This summer, our optical has expanded to include Nike and Carrera, with both sunglasses and ophthalmic frames to choose from! We are also running an end of summer special through August 31st (details below). Come on down and check out our new frame lines!

Like most businesses in 2021, we are short-staffed and booked out! We'll keep doing the best we can, just like we always do -- but we are not able to accept new routine (non-emergent) patients at our Bonners Ferry office for the time being. We understand the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work on solutions. Also, please help us out and call ahead to schedule any visit to our office -- even if it's as simple as picking up a pair of contact lenses. It's the best way we can guarantee that we'll have someone available to help you when you show up.

Please keep masking up while our hospitals are maxed out. Thanks Boundary County!

One question we get frequently in our patriotic little area is: are there any genuine, made-in-America frames? Up till now, our reluctant answer has been, "not really ... but these lines are designed locally ... or, these two specific frames are assembled in such-and-such a state ... and, don't forget, your lenses are made in the northwest US..."
BUT NOW -- in our month of celebrating all things Independence -- we are stoked to begin selling the newly relaunched and ever-so-classic brand of sunwear, American Optical! Ever since 1833 (until its brief pause for the past few decades), AO has played an oversized role in quality eyewear development. It's so exciting to not only see their frames in production again, but to be able to offer them to our local customers.
Stop by our Sandpoint office anytime during business hours to peruse AO's sunglasses, or the beautiful Alan J frames also being made in Chicago, Illinois! Keep your hard-earned dollars States-side, and look good doing it! Happy July!
