Why do you have to wait at least two weeks before you get more lip filler??

• The enzyme used to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers takes about 24 to 48 hours to fully break down the filler.

• The lips and surrounding tissue need time to heal and recover from the dissolution process.

• Any swelling and bruising from the dissolution must fully subside.

• A waiting period allows for the lips to return to their natural state, making it easier to accurately assess the natural lip volume before adding more filler.

• Refilling too soon can increase the risk of complications, as the filler might migrate or be affected by any residual dissolving agent.
