**Temporarily Closed/Free Advice**

Hello all!

A little over a year ago, I began Ahgotchu to give parents advice and come up with solutions to keep their children safe around the home. It has been so great meeting families with new little ones (fur babies included 😉) and allow kids the freedom to learn and grow safely.

Unfortunately, I will be temporarily closing to focus on my own family. It’s been a tough decision but one I feel I must make. Even though I won’t be offering safety consultations and installations, I still want to help in some way. I started this business to help keep children safe and that’s what I want to keep doing.

You can STILL CONTACT ME by phone, email, and text to get FREE advice. I’ll give you things to look out for around the home, specific products I use, and anything else you have questions about to keep kids safe. My heart has always been to help, so please reach out with anything you need. Again, no charge, just free advice.

Summer is a very popular time for vacations and when traveling with kids, it's a common fear for parents on what to do if your child is separated from you. One of the best pieces of advice I have heard came from a police officer who said to tell your child to find another kid or a kid with their parents. That way your child is not trying to decide who looks like a safe adult and who doesn't.

Fireworks are such a fun and big part of the Fourth of July, but they can be very dangerous. Even sparklers, a kid favorite, can reach up to 2,000 degrees...enough to melt some metals.

The safest thing to do is to go watch a show done by professionals. But if you're planning to light off fireworks yourself (like most people) please be responsible, buy legal, and please please please, BE SAFE. Below is a link to some helpful tips and reminders for this holiday weekend.
