Boone County Hospital Foundation The B*H Foundation provides resources to Boone County Hospital for equipment, programs & services.

MISSION: The Boone County Hospital Foundation provides resources to Boone County Hospital for equipment, programs and services that otherwise would not be available. VISION: B*H Foundation strives to meet the immediate needs of patients while creating lasting improvements to benefit Boone County Hospital into the future. PURPOSE: The Foundation is an incorporated, nonprofit organization formed to provide appropriate avenues of funding for the hospital's patient services, capital expenses and equipment needs. It has its own Board of Directors made up of individuals who volunteer their time and talents to the Foundation. COMMITMENT: Boone County Hospital is committed to bettering the community's healthcare. As a nonprofit hospital, B*H reinvests all excess revenues to improve the quality of patient care through:
- Purchasing innovative equipment and technology.
- Developing new programs and services.
- Recruiting physicians and upgrading facilities.

We are honored to share that $2,000 has been donated to the Lila Carpenter Scholarship Fund through the Boone County Hospital Foundation, in memory of William “Bill” J. Carpenter, who passed away on May 15, 2025.

Bill established the scholarship in loving memory of his late wife, Lila, to support students pursuing healthcare careers — a cause that reflected both of their compassionate spirits. This recent memorial gift reflects the deep impact Bill had on his family, friends, and community.

We are incredibly grateful to Bill's children, Mike & Kristen Crouthamel, family, and friends for designating these funds to such a meaningful legacy.
