Established in 1906, we were the very first retirement community in the world to be owned and operated by the Order of the Eastern Star. Since then, we have grown from a 20-bed facility in a renovated mansion, to a multi-building campus which offers comprehensive care to more than 270 residents. With beautiful landscaped grounds, well-maintained and updated facilities, and caring, highly-trained staff, we continue to set the standard for affordable retirement communities in the area. After more than 100 years, the Eastern Star Masonic Home is still a not-for-profit, independent retirement community. While admission preference is given to applicants who are active members of the Order, we are pleased to offer all seven levels of care to all individuals, based on availability. Being associated with the Order of the Eastern Star is a wonderful gift—for our staff, and our residents alike. All Eastern Star and Masonic bodies are grounded in doing acts of kindness for individuals and communities at large. These two groups strive to follow the fundamental principles of charity, truth, and loving kindness as they serve individuals and support the communities in which they live. At Eastern Star Masonic Home, every aspect of our retirement community is focused on upholding the values instilled by the Order. We are committed to practicing good stewardship in order to provide optimal health service at an affordable cost, as well as maintaining a variety of enriching programs, appropriate services, modern facilities, and financial soundness.
