Checked out a new Pilates studio here in Boone yesterday and I’m still thinking about how intentional the whole space felt. 🤍

As someone who specializes in maternity work, it means a lot to see spaces that truly support and center the prenatal and postpartum experience. The care, attention, and thoughtfulness behind it all really stood out.

Due to the arrival of Snowstorm Fern, my practice will be closed this weekend and likely into next week depending on road conditions and safety.

Your well-being matters to me both on and off the treatment table, and I don’t want anyone traveling in unsafe conditions (including you). Please stay home, stay warm, and take this as an invitation to slow down and rest your nervous system in simple ways: blankets, warm showers, early bedtimes, and gentle stretches.

When I moved to the gorgeous mountains of western North Carolina I took a leap of faith, continued in my commitment in creating a warm and welcoming space. This is home.

Hello Winter ❄️! As the first official day of winter marks our calendar we prepare for the “new”.

Changes in our skin, hair, scalp and body. All of these are a reflection of the nature all around us.

From the incoming of colder days ahead we say hello to hot cocoa nights and a period of rest, shorter sunlit days and welcome sleep.

Winter symbolizes the gift of slowing down and in some cases a welcomed pause.
