Sacred Witness Card Draw✨
Mental Being — Card #23

Let this week’s message gently meet you where you are…

This card arrives as an invitation to reconnect with your Mental Being, the loyal, vigilant part of you that learned how to survive by thinking ahead, staying alert, and doing it all on its own.

This core aspect of you has served you well.
And… it may still be carrying an old belief:

“I have to figure this out alone.”

When Mental Being comes forward, our Heart is not asking us to try and silence this part of us...

It’s asking us to lovingly remember that we are not alone.

Remember that support exists now.
Remember that wisdom lives beyond hyper-vigilance.
Remember that attuned connection is no longer a risk, it’s can be a resource.

This week, you may notice familiar inner narratives trying to take over:
- overthinking
- self-reliance to the point of exhaustion
- an inner voice that questions self-trust or guidance

Meet these moments with softness.

Let go of judgments.
Let curiosity replace correction.

And invite your mind to open to the wisdom and support held within your Heart and Soul 💜✨️

At Unbridled Change, our work is guided by a single, unifying framework: the Bridge of Connection™.

This approach weaves together science, psychology, spirituality, and relational wisdom to support true, lasting transformation—without bypassing the body, the nervous system, or the soul.

The Bridge of Connection™ brings together:

Trauma-informed therapeutic models

Neuroscience & somatic awareness

Spiritual teachings & subtle energy work

& Relational attuned presence

This is not a single modality.
It’s a way of being in relationship with yourself, your healing, and your life—body, mind, heart, and soul.

✨ If you’re seeking support on your healing or spiritual journey, we invite you to explore our offerings and discover what it feels like to come home to yourself.

This Week’s Soulful Intention

Let this intention gently walk with you…

As you move through your days, notice the quiet invitations of the present moment.
Not the grand milestones.
Not the future you’re trying to reach.
But the small, living moments are already here.

✨ The breath you didn’t rush
✨ The sensation of your feet on the ground
✨ The feeling of being here… even briefly

Joy is not something to chase or manufacture.
It often reveals itself when we soften our striving and allow ourselves to be fully attentive to what is already unfolding.

This week, your practice is simple:
Pause.
Arrive.
Notice.

And if your mind wanders, that’s okay.
Gently return again and again to this moment.

Carry this intention with you like a quiet companion:
“When I am present, I am available to joy.”

Transformational change isn’t always graceful.

Sometimes it feels disorienting… even like you’re being pulled back into old patterns just as you thought you were moving forward.

This past blog feels especially relevant right now.

Inside, I explore why lasting change isn’t sustained by fear, pressure, or “pushing through,” but by rooting ourselves in a deeper why, one that’s guided by love, not outcomes. When our motivation is clear and compassionate, it becomes a lifeline in the messier seasons of growth.

If you’ve been asking yourself:
✨ Why am I doing this work?
✨ What actually guides my choices when things feel hard?
✨ How do I stay aligned when everything feels uncertain?

This reflection may offer a gentle re-anchor.

A story of trauma, healing, and the quiet wisdom of horses.

The Horse Cure was born from my own journey: after a childhood illness left me in a seven-day coma, awakened to a body and brain forever changed. What helped me find my way back wasn’t a quick fix or a single answer… it was a horse.

In this book, I share the stories of people navigating trauma, loss, illness, abuse, stress, and depression and how working alongside horses helped them soften defences, reconnect with their bodies, and rediscover hope.

A growing body of science now supports what many of us have felt intuitively:
Horses meet us exactly where we are.
They respond to what’s beneath the surface.
They help reveal what words often can’t.

The Horse Cure is an invitation into a different kind of healing one rooted in presence, relationship, and deep listening. If you’re curious about equine-assisted therapy, trauma-informed healing, or the power of connection beyond words, this story is for you.

So much of life happens in the in-between moments.

Not just in the big breakthroughs or peak experiences, but in the quiet choices, the pauses, the way we meet ourselves in everyday life.

The Soulful Practices Podcast exists as a companion for those moments.

Each episode offers gentle reflections and practices to help you bridge your spiritual life with your lived, human one, so you’re not just surviving the days or waiting for weekends, but learning how to live with presence, intention, and heart.

As Jon Kabat-Zinn reminds us, “The little things? The little moments? They aren’t little.”

This podcast is an invitation to reclaim those moments—to partner with your Body, Mind, Heart, and Soul, and to consciously choose how you want to live, love, and lead your life.

Let this be your soulful companion along the way.

This quote invites a gentle reorientation, not toward striving for joy, but toward noticing it.

As you sit with these words, pause and sense what they stir in you.
Does this feel comforting? Challenging? True in some moments and distant in others?

Perhaps the invitation isn’t to feel joyful all the time, but to become curious about what’s already here, subtle moments of aliveness, ease, or connection that often go unnoticed when we’re rushing or bracing.

💬 We’d love to hear from you:
How does this quote land with you today?
What helps you become more attentive to the present moment?
Did any moments of quiet joy show up for you this week?

Let’s reflect together.

Over the next few days, I invite you to:

Pause and notice what within you is completing its cycle.
Not with urgency or judgment, but with gratitude and honesty.

Let yourself honor what this chapter has given you,
the lessons learned, the strength built, the ways you’ve grown and changed.

Gently ask yourself where you may be holding on out of habit, fear, or familiarity,
and what might become possible if you softened your grip just a little.

This is the energy of rebirth,
not forcing the new,
but creating space for it to arrive.

As you move through these days, carry this intention with you:
I trust the natural rhythm of ending and beginning.
I allow what is ready to be released to fall away.
I open to what is quietly being born within me.

Let this intention guide you with patience, courage, and compassion as the next chapter begins.

We’re often taught that healing means mastering our emotions.
Staying calm. Rising above. Feeling less.

But what if that approach quietly creates more harm than healing?

In this blog, I explore why emotional “mastery” can become a subtle form of self-abandonment—and how relating to emotions as messengers, rather than problems to eliminate, opens the door to true regulation and wholeness.

If you’ve ever felt pressure to be “more healed” by feeling less, this reflection may shift how you understand your emotional world.
