Bobby Wayne Watson, 88, of Booneville, Arkansas, left this earth for his Heavenly home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. He was born November 28, 1937, in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Bob enjoyed a fulfilling retirement after serving with the Fort Smith Police Department, the Arkansas State Police, and the 188th Air Guard Unit. An avid amateur Ham Radio Operator, he proudly held the call sign “N5KFY”. Bob cherished his adventurous trips to Colorado with his beloved wife, Connie, thrilling four-wheeler rides with friends, and engaging conversations with his “Ham” buddies over the radio. Above all, his greatest joy came from spending quality time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Eartha Watson; son, Bobby Scott Watson; brother, Dean Watson; and his loyal dog, Trouble.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Booneville with burial in Liberty Cemetery in Driggs, under the direction of Bulger Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Bulger Funeral Home.

Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Connie Watson of the home; daughters, Angie Holcomb (Chad) and Michelle Stanford, both of Booneville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kody Carter (Brittney), Katy Chambers (Ryan), Taylor Duvall (Jordan), Jake Warren, Lauren Ryan, Jeffrey Boyd, Alex Watson, and Brandy Watson; great grandchildren, Kamrey, Kory, Ava, Kipp, Lainey, Kross, and Carter; niece, Dee Anna Masterson of Lavaca, Arkansas; and other relatives and friends.

Amanda Jo Suttles, 49, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born February 2, 1977, in Danville, Arkansas to James H. and Betty (Austin) Shott.



Amanda was an educator for over 20 years. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Booneville. She loved spending time with her grandbabies and her boys, baking and cooking, Roller Derby, crafting, reading, drawing, playing the piano and singing.



She is preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Shott and Justin Hogan.



Visitation will be from 5 to 700 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home.



Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 6, 2026, at Bulger Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery in Waveland, Arkansas, under the direction of Bulger Funeral Home.



She is survived by her husband, Micheal Suttles of the home; 2 sons, Dakota Suttles and wife Haley of Booneville and Mason Suttles and wife Hailey of Fort Smith; 1 brother, Doug Shott and wife Eva of Hot Springs; Parents, James and Betty Shott of Booneville; 4 grandchildren, Lincoln, Griffin, Atlas, and Malcolm Suttles; other relatives and friends.

Crystal Lee Bieler-Haynes, age 41, of Mansfield, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, February 11th, in Mansfield, Arkansas.

Crystal was born on October 6, 1984, in WaKenney, Kansas. She was the beloved daughter of Geneva Haynes and carried her mother’s strength and compassion throughout her life.

She graduated from Magazine High School and continued her education at UFAS. Crystal built a career she was proud of, serving as a dedicated Service Manager at Ulta Beauty. She was known for her strong work ethic, leadership, and the genuine care she showed to both her team and customers.

From an early age, Crystal excelled in basketball and other competitive sports, demonstrating determination and a spirited drive that remained with her throughout her life. Beyond athletics, she found joy and fulfillment in beekeeping, gardening, and working on the farm. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and took pride in nurturing growth—whether in her garden, her hives, or the lives of those she loved.

Crystal’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Cailee Brean Shryer; her sister, Jessica Williams; her granny, Shirley Weymouth; and her partner, Jared Vines. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Haynes, and her brother, Justin Haynes.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18th at 10:00 a.m. at Bulger Funeral Home Chapel in Booneville, Arkansas. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 to 7:00 P.M. at Bulger Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be JD Chapman, Jimmy Vines, Jay Crosby, Elijah Vines, Kolton McCubbin, Joe Wilks, and Doyle Wilks.

Crystal will be remembered for her fierce love for her family, her hardworking spirit, and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished.

Sandy was a homemaker and a member of the Lakeview Pentecostal Church in Booneville. She enjoyed serving in the church and spending time with her family and friends.

Larry Ken Lowder, beloved husband and father, 89, of Booneville, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. He was born November 8, 1936, in Paris, Arkansas.

He was a member of the Heritage Addition Church of Christ, served in the Arkansas Army National Guard, and retired from Today’s Kids as a Traffic Manager after 30+ years of dedicated service. Additionally, he was a member of both the National Cutting Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. He loved raising quarter horses, as well as training and showcasing cutting horses. He also was an avid quail hunter and deeply enjoyed dancing, especially western swing dancing, with the love of his life, Juanita. He was a wonderful friend to everyone, always willing to help.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hermon Glen and Alta Morene Lowder.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Bulger Memorial Chapel in Booneville, with burial at Cauthron Cemetery, under the direction of Bulger Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Bulger Funeral Home.

Larry leaves behind his bride of 70 years, Juanita Lowder of the home; daughter, Melessa Lowder (Mike Wiser) of Booneville; sister, Betty Scharbor of Booneville; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Michael “Mike” Ray Sheppard, 71, of Booneville, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was born June 18, 1954, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Dewitt Frank and Wilta Fay Sheppard.

He is preceded in death by his parents before mentioned and sister, Virginia Bradley.

He previously worked at Correll and loved watching old movies, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with his grandkids.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Starting Point Church with burial at Ellington Cemetery, under the direction of Bulger Funeral Home. There will be no graveside service.

Prior to the service on Saturday, visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 pm.

Mike is survived by his wife of 47 years, Loretta Sheppard of the home; son, Dr. Brian D. Sheppard (Jennifer) of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughter, Tamera Montgomery (Daniel) of Booneville, Arkansas; brother, Randy Sheppard (Gayla) of Magazine, Arkansas; grandchildren, Luke Sheppard, Austin Goff, Raylea Creech, and Kyle Montgomery; and other relatives and friends.
