Bobby Wayne Watson, 88, of Booneville, Arkansas, left this earth for his Heavenly home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. He was born November 28, 1937, in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Bob enjoyed a fulfilling retirement after serving with the Fort Smith Police Department, the Arkansas State Police, and the 188th Air Guard Unit. An avid amateur Ham Radio Operator, he proudly held the call sign “N5KFY”. Bob cherished his adventurous trips to Colorado with his beloved wife, Connie, thrilling four-wheeler rides with friends, and engaging conversations with his “Ham” buddies over the radio. Above all, his greatest joy came from spending quality time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Eartha Watson; son, Bobby Scott Watson; brother, Dean Watson; and his loyal dog, Trouble.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Booneville with burial in Liberty Cemetery in Driggs, under the direction of Bulger Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Bulger Funeral Home.
Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Connie Watson of the home; daughters, Angie Holcomb (Chad) and Michelle Stanford, both of Booneville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kody Carter (Brittney), Katy Chambers (Ryan), Taylor Duvall (Jordan), Jake Warren, Lauren Ryan, Jeffrey Boyd, Alex Watson, and Brandy Watson; great grandchildren, Kamrey, Kory, Ava, Kipp, Lainey, Kross, and Carter; niece, Dee Anna Masterson of Lavaca, Arkansas; and other relatives and friends.
