Mary Elizabeth Herald, 85, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away November 6, 2025 at the Owsley County Health Care Center following a long illness.

Mary is survived by her daughters Tanya “Conley” Tirey and Tammy “Elijah” King, three grandsons Connor Tirey, Cody “Alivia” Gibson, Nicholas Gibson, three great grandchildren Aviana, Ryatt & Remi Gibson, three sisters Gladys Bowman, Judy Bell, Katrina Emerson and several beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and precious caretakers of the Owsley County Health Care Center.

Visitation will be Monday, November 10, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, November 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Brother Brian Collett officiating. Burial will follow in the Botner Cemetery.

Tina Lynn Neeley Bennett, 65, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away October 19, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky following a long illness.

Tina is survived by her children Harold “Candace” Sebastian, Shon Sebastian, Cassie Hudson, Jerry Bennett, Chanda Hall, three sisters Martha Rita Abner, Theresa Smith, EddWynda “Wyndy” (Jamie) Mullannix, and three brothers James E. Smith, Troy Lee “Cindy” Smith and Tony “Julie” Smith. Grandchildren Sidney, Trenton, Cayden, Cheylbie, Chaya, Hayden, Braxton, Grayson, Conner and Delilah. A special friend DeEtta Thomas.

Memorial service will be Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Campbell Cemetery with Brother Timothy Cater and Brother Adam Stall officiating. Burial will follow at the Campbell Cemetery, Milltown, Kentucky.
