Dovie Smith Roberts, 93, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 30th, 2026 at the Owsley County Health Care Center following a long illness.

Dovie is survived by her sons Mr. Roger Dale "Kathy" Roberts, Mr. Harvey "Brenda" Roberts, Mr. Jackie "Wanda" Roberts and Mr. Johnny Wayne Roberts, all of Booneville, Kentucky. She had nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 beginning at 11:00am at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm with Brother Larry Collins and Brother James Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Shepherd Memorial Cemetery in Booneville, Kentucky.

William Douglas Woodward, 52, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away on March 21, 2026 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky following a long illness.

William is survived by his father; William E. “Bill” Woodward, his brother; Vernon W. Woodward, one aunt; sissy Phyllis “Bobby “ Frost, three uncles; Ronnie ”Liz” Amis, Paul Wayne “Sara” Amis, David Woodward and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 11:00am at the Indian Creek Church. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm with Brother Terry Sandlin officiating.
Burial will follow at the Amis-Baker Cemetery, Grassy Branch, Kentucky.
