Belinda Sue Mann, 64, of Booneville, Arkansas, was born on June 1, 1961, in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Belinda was born with a severe intellectual disability, a condition that shaped the course of her life. Had she been born just 25 years later, advances in technology and understanding might have opened new doors for her to communicate in ways that were not available in the 1960s and 1970s. Even so, those who knew her learned to understand her in her own unique ways.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Manuel Mann and Betty Mann of Booneville, Arkansas.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at The Southside Assembly Of God Church in Booneville, with burial in Grace Lawn Cemetery in Van Buren, Arkansas, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M.- 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday prior to the service at the church.

She is survived by her brother, Danny Mann (Karen Mann) of Central Square, NY; her nieces, Ashley Mann (Jesse Sidhu) of Los Angeles, CA, Julia Mann of Sequim, WA, and Sophia Mann of Central Square, NY; her aunt, Brenda Burkhart of Van Buren, AR; her uncle, Larry Stockton (Raylene Stuart) of Van Buren, AR; her cousin, Michael Breedlove (Marie Breedlove) of Booneville, AR, who was like a son to her parents; numerous additional cousins; and many devoted friends and caregivers at the Booneville Human Development Center.

Belinda remained at home, lovingly cared for by her family, throughout her childhood and early adulthood. Life was not always easy, but it was always filled with love. When she said “bull,” you knew she was upset about something. If she stretched out a long “uuunnnnnn” while biting the back of her hand, everyone nearby understood that a quick kick to the shin—often delivered with her pointed cowboy boots—might soon follow if they didn’t respond quickly enough. In her own way, she made sure she was heard.

In July 1988, at the age of 27, Belinda was admitted to the Booneville Human Development Center, just a few miles from her childhood home. There, she found a place where she lived and thrived for the remainder of her life. Although she enjoyed occasional outings, she was usually ready to return to her home at BHDC after a short time. She loved being there and enjoyed interacting with fellow residents and staff who became like family to her.

Belinda enjoyed all kinds of music, sitting outside, and “picking at” her friends. Her life was different from most, but it was filled with love, connection, and meaning. She will be remembered for the unique ways she communicated, the joy she found in simple pleasures, and the love she gave and received throughout her life — a love that defined her story.

Joyce June Martin - Trickett, 90, passed away on February 17, 2026, quietly in her
sleep at her home in North Richland Hills, Texas, with her dog Gigi curled next to her. She was a
consummate public servant, having served many years with the Forest Service in Arkansas, and
the Small Business Administration in Dallas, TX. She was born in Magazine, Arkansas on
December 29, 1935, to Jessie Paulina (1908-1942) and Bodine Irby “Pa Bo” Martin (1905-1976.)
She was the younger of her parents’ two children. Her older brother being Irby Gene Martin
(1933-2005) She faced early adversity in her childhood with the death of her mother when she
was only 6 years old. However, her grandmother Annie Geneva Lewis-Gipson (1880-1963) that
she called “Momma,” took on a good portion of her upbringing.

She Graduated from Booneville High in 1953 and in1958 was married Leon “Red”
Combs (1936-2023) in Booneville. However, tragedy struck her burgeoning family with the loss
of her first child, Jo Beth Combs, who passed shortly after her birth in 1960, and second daughter
Leigh Ann Combs passed three short years after her birth in 1961. Despite these losses that could
have caused most to give up, she decided to try again. This time she did so through adoption
when she brought a 3-month-old Shannon Lynn Combs home in October of 1965. She still had
more adversity with the passing of her father, Pa Bo in 1976. With her marriage to “Red”
degenerating she summoned her courage and divorced him around this time. Despite being a
single parent, she persevered.

In 1978 she met an old classmate, Jim Trickett (1934-2023,) and they soon fell in love
and were married in August of that year. She and Shannon moved to where Jim was stationed in
Grand Prairie Texas soon after. There she would meet her new family and have a tremendously
positive influence on those of us lucky enough to call her “Memaw.” She was just recently parted
from her beloved Jim, and one hopes that she is reunited with him, along with her much-loved
brother Irby, her dogs Missy, JJ and Chrissy. And if there is any justice she is once again
embracing her baby girls and showering them with tears and kisses.

June will be greatly missed by her daughter Shannon with her husband Paul Martinez,
and her daughter Tami Trickett. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Taylor Hunt and his
wife Brandi, Stormi Hernandez and husband Martin, Jason Trickett and wife Lauren, Ryan Huitt
and girlfriend Jenny Elson, the children of Lesa and Jimmy Dale Trickett, Justin Trickett and
wife Marann, and Brittany Armstrong. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren; Sadie Hunt,
Kieran and Cera Hernandez, Marxi and Alexandria Trickett, Royce and Rex Huitt, Jameson and
Gemma Trickett, Caliana Leal, and Emily and Harper Armstrong. She will also be remembered
fondly by her Sister-in-law Jeanette Martin, nieces Donette and Yvette, and their children Lewis,
Della, Audrey, Jillian, and Ian. She will be mourned by her numerous friends, which, essentially
includes most anyone who met her, but especially Vicki and Betty from her SBA days.

Despite us not calling her this, Memaw embodied the word, “Grandmother.” She will be
defined in our memories by her selfless and giving spirit, her quick wit and silly sense of humor,
(she was hilarious to say the least) as well as her toughness and determination, and despite herprotests her margaritas too. Her Sunday breakfasts are the stuff of legend, buttery eggs, crispy
sausage and bacon, and fluffy biscuits, not to mention the perfectly smooth gravy, or if you were
really lucky, she would make her sausage-biscuit pinwheels too. She would say that she couldn’t
cook but then make a Millionaire Pie or cheese ball that was one of the best things you ever ate.
She gave us everything we needed, and then also what we wanted on top of that. She found the
good in everyone and would just as soon jump off a bridge then talk badly about somebody but
then again not all bridges are that high off the ground. In fact, the only time she got mad at you
was when you tried to pay for dinner. Well, that, and talk bad about Arkansas, Elvis or Willie
Nelson. And if you mistreated someone she loved, you should run for the hills as she would say.
Though she was the heart of this family and the void she leaves will never be filled, her
memory and the love she gave us will rest in our hearts and minds and will continue to give us
what we need to go forward and stay together.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 22nd from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Robert’s Funeral
Home on 127 W 4 th St. in Booneville, Arkansas

Services will be held Monday, February 23 rd ,2:00 pm at Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church on 23 Main St. in Ratcliff Arkansas.
