Old Brownlee Community Care Center is dedicated to providing high-quality Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services, with sessions conducted at least five times per week. Our Physical Therapy department focuses on enhancing patient mobility, encompassing transfers, gait training, and stair climbing. Occupational Therapy aims to promote independence in all facets of daily living, including self-care activities like dressing and bathing, as well as more complex tasks such as meal preparation and laundry. The Speech Therapy team addresses a range of communication and cognitive challenges, tailoring interventions to the individual's interests and preferences. To support these therapeutic interventions, our facility features advanced equipment, including electrical stimulation units, hot pack therapy, aqua care applications, paraffin baths, functional kitchen facilities, and an on-site laundry system.

On December 24th our beloved Lanae Collins Griffin retired after dedicating herself 30 years to Whispering Pines/Old Brownlee Community Care Center. We will truly miss her but we're so excited for her. Enjoy retirement Lanae! We will miss you and we love you!
