Wanted to catch you up on Mary. Brenda, Mary’s friend from Florida, took her ashes home with her and interred them with her family. Until all the paperwork got smoothed out, her neighbors, Judy and Amy, and I kept watch on the house, took care of utilities and the yard (Amy’s boys). We have a great property manager/realtor that helps us, so I suggested him to Brenda. The realtor came over and decided to buy the house. Brenda closed last Friday. They are finishing up clearing it out today and the renovation will start. I know it’s a big relief having this closure for Brenda, Judy, Amy and me. I had not really realized how much I’ve put off since she passed. But I do feel better than I have in awhile. She would have slapped me upside the head for behaving like that. I still expect those Friday texts, Hey Les, where we going for lunch and are you coming to the hockey game tonight? She left a big hole in my heart. Crazy w***h! ❤️❤️
