This post may be all over the place..but I'm gonna try.
Ive gone back and forth about posting this and well... I get NOTHING out of canceling appts except angry clients. If I'm not working, I'm making ZERO dollars.
Most people know that I have 3 kids, one with special needs. I am and will always be a mom 1st. Most things with Preston are an emergency because he cant(its getting much better) communicate being sick/hurt and his immune system is very low so he gets sick a lot.
I can't help my office flooded, I can't help i ran over a pair of scissors on Airline dr and popped my tire, I cant help I broke my foot, I cant help my arm is tired after 20 years. I cant control sickness. Maybe I'm cursed, maybe God is trying to w**d out clients for me...idk.
I will apologize for having to cancel, but I wont apologize for life's inconveniences. If you've never experienced it, man, youre lucky. My health, my kids health, and my business will never be perfect.
I have never once gotten upset because your child has gotten sick, you're stuck in traffic, your best friend's sister's cousin is in the hospital. Ive never taken away a prepaid or made anyone pay for the session they have had to cancel on me, I send my prayers and tell you to reschedule at your convenience.
I pay for massagebook every month so anyone can look at my schedule at their convenience and my phone is always on me so you can text me anytime.
I totally understand about being sad about missing an appt, but I promise I will get you back in. I understand if you've prepaid, the only way I know to stop that is to stop offering prepaids.
I may lose clients over this post and I'm basically in my let them era...I don't know what else to do at this point.
I love my clients and I love my job...but I will always love my kids more.
Oh and guess where I am making this post? At the doctor's office with Preston....
