Happy Social Work Month! 🌟 This March, we are celebrating the heart, soul, and tireless advocacy that defines the social work profession.

Social workers are often the quiet architects of change, building bridges to healing and equity in every corner of our communities. At Kujichagulia Wellness Center, we take immense pride in our roots within this field, especially in our commitment to providing culturally affirming and trauma-informed care. Whether it’s navigating complex systems or holding space for deep, inquisitive conversations, social workers show up every day to ensure that no one has to walk their journey alone.

Navigating health insurance can feel overwhelming, but understanding your benefits is a key step in prioritizing your mental health! 🧠💡 We’ve broken down some common terms to help you make informed decisions about your care:

Deductible: The amount you pay out-of-pocket annually before your insurance begins to cover costs.

Co-Pay: A fixed, predictable fee you pay for each session.

Co-Insurance: A percentage of the session fee you are responsible for, while insurance covers the rest.

Whether you choose to use insurance or private pay options, Kujichagulia Wellness Center is here to support you in finding the path that best fits your healing journey.
