How does CBD work in our bodies?!
Every mammal has something called an ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM, or ECS. (Swipe to see)
Our bodies actually have RECEPTORS for cannabinoids! (CBD is a cannabinoid.) We naturally produce them, but we just can’t keep up with the production necessary to keep our bodies at homeostasis. And when your ECS is off balance, this is when you can start experiencing issues with things like sleep, mood, inflammation, pain, anxiousness, etc.
When you take CBD, it’s bringing your ECS back balance. Here’s an analogy for you: Think of your body as a Christmas tree and your ECS as the lights🎄 . You get the whole string of lights on and then, never fails, the middle section is burnt out. What if you could drip something in the water of that tree that goes directly to the lights that are burnt out and turns them back on?! And your whole tree lights back up.
FUN FACT: Cannabinoids are found in a mother’s breastmilk! The colostrum that a mom produces when her baby is born is FULL of them. So it’s the first thing that a baby ingests when it comes into the world. 🤍
