Congratulations to PA Emma Webb, recipient of an MGB Capacity Champion Award! Emma was recognized after a colleague nominated her for a compassionate gesture to a patient readmitted to MGH a short time after a recent hospitalization at another hospital. Emma went above and beyond, in the process overcoming barriers of limited health literacy, limited English proficiency, and inter-hospital and pharmacy coordination, to ensure a safe and smooth discharge for the patient.
