Today, we are so proud to celebrate Savvina Prapiadou on matching into Neurology at Mass General Brigham/Harvard Medical School, a milestone shaped by years of dedication, resilience, and belief in a dream that kept growing with every step.
Her path has been one of courage and purpose: from medical school in Patras, to genetics research in Heidelberg, to computational and genetics work in Cincinnati, to formative clinical rotations at Yale and Johns Hopkins, and to a postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Each chapter helped shape the physician and scientist she is becoming.
Behind this moment are the long hours, the uncertainty, the sacrifices, and the strength it takes to keep moving forward even when the road is not easy. That is what makes this achievement so important. It is not only about where she matched, but about everything it took to get here.
Savvina’s journey is a beautiful reminder that dreams are built over time, through hard work, persistence, and the quiet determination to keep going.
Congratulations on this extraordinary achievement. Neurology is lucky to have you, and we cannot wait to see all the lives you will touch in the years ahead. 💙✨
