PROJECT IMG INSTA TAKEOVER 2025!🥁

I am Dr. Keerthi Palagati, an IMG from India who matched into preliminary general surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
I graduated in 2022 from Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences. I started my USMLE journey after graduation, so I gave all my exams and rotations as a graduate. I gave my Step 1 in Feb 2023, Step 2 in Aug 2023, and Step 3 in Sep 2024.

As an IMG I am aware of the questions everyone has, and feel free to ask any questions regarding the USMLE journey and match process. I will try to answer to the best of my ability.

He has been part of since the beginning of our community, has supported IMGs and attended our event in NYC multiple times and we know that he will be a great leader and representative for the IMG community in AMA!

PROJECT IMG INSTA TAKEOVER 2025! 🥁

Hola a todos! 👋 I’m Dr. Nina, a physician from Colombia who refused to let obstacles define my journey. When I moved to the U.S., I discovered my medical school wasn’t in the World Directory of Medical Schools, overnight, my dream seemed impossible. But I refused to let go of my dream.

In 2023, I matched into Pediatrics—a triumph! But my story didn’t stop there. This year, I took a leap of faith and reapplied, matching into Anesthesiology! 🎉 This path tested my resilience, but it taught me this: The “impossible” is just a challenge waiting for your courage.

I’m teaming up with to share my story and give some advice.
